Tim Rogers

Head of Publishing

Tim is our senior music editor who overseas the publishing programme.

He has followed a career in publishing, working for Banks Music Publications, Novello, Music Sales, The Royal School of Church Music and Walker Books.

In 1992, he founded Encore Publications as an independent publisher, dedicated to refreshing, promoting and sustaining sacred music. For more than 30 years, he has provided printed and digital music resources to choirs throughout the world for use in acts of worship and concerts.

His achievements in choral music have been of international significance. The work is of public benefit, not only to individuals or performing groups who are engaged with sacred music, but also to church congregations and communities who listen to music.

He considers music as a missional tool, enabling the spread of faith, hope and peace. Therefore, he works to broaden the musical landscape for people of all ages and to make it active, relevant, diverse and inclusive, as well as being distinctive.

He is also the author of a book, 'Christmas Eve at King's: 100 Years of Nine Lessons & Carols' (Encore Publications, 2019, ISBN 978-1527247253), which provides a complete record of the choral music used in the world-famous carol
services since 1918.

UNPUBLISHED MANUSCRIPTS

Our editors would be pleased to read and consider for publication unpublished musical works by talented composers. We are always searching for music which is imaginative and well crafted.
